Does NEX-GENVCP integrate with my CAD system?

Yes. If your CAD can send data we can connect seamlessly.  We support a variety of protocols such as e-mail, WCTP, SNPP, and file transfer.  If your CAD cannot send data, we have written software that "tickles" the CAD network to grab your department's data.

Do you have to be integrated with a CAD system to make NEX-GENVCP work?

No. We have the ability for individuals, or call taking centers to self dispatch using our products.

Does NEX-GENVCP replace my CAD system?

No. NEX-GENVCP works in conjunction with your current CAD system as an inexpensive addtion of features, such as routing, geopositinong, and distribution of documents.

Can NEX-GENVCP replace my pager?

Yes. NEX-GENVCP can eliminate the use of pagers.

Can I set up group messaging with non NEX-GENVCP users?

Yes. We have several customers that utilize this feature for alerting non-responding groups such as churches, and other community based groups.

Do I need GIS mapping skills to use the NEX-GENVCP mapping feature?

No. The mapping feature is very simple to use.  It is basically a click on the map.
